It's a bit of old Orkiness for you today while I get some more photos sorted for other bits. Here is Lugz chief painboy Tinhead and his Grot orderly Snotty. Both of these guys are old metal models with a bit of mild conversion work on Tinhead himself. Tinhead lost his original head in a headbutting contest while hopped up on squig juice. Luckily for him snotty was there to scoop up most of the important bits and pop them in a spare bucket he kept back in his surgery.  I love snotty they'd never get away with making a grot flipping the bird these days lol.   Tinhead Snotty

A new world of Nerd!!

Hi everyone it's Elblondino here. Many years ago I used to be all like bloggery and stuff and do social media and all sorts. Well the last few years have kind of been a wasteland with regards to me doing all that lol.  Well it's ok cos ..............I'M BACK!!!!!! I'm now a self employed Illustrator and recently been diagnosed ADHD which is kind of why i've always been so flaky with stuff like this 😏. I'm determined to show off all of the projects and weird nerdy side bits that I'm working on and here is the start!! The blog has been updated I have a dedicated instagram (elblondino_workbench) and the first post is here in front of you. Lets get back out there. To start with I thought I'd show what I'm painting at the moment. A nice unit of stormtroopers for Star Wars Legion. They're so much fun to work on and I'll show some more when I've got them finished. So for now welcome to the new improved Elblondino's Workbench and keep on cre

Da Orks

Ere we go!! Da furst of da posts as gotta be Orks!!! I've been an Ork player in 40K since as long as I can remember (I think second edition). Anyway this is my long suffering warboss Lug da Loud. He's had several renditions over the years but this is his current mega armoured version. He is converted from Ghazgull's body with a custom built power fist, upgraded motor and armour. Being a speed freek as I am he had to be red obviously.  His ever faithful assistants (more like pets) Crunk and Lunk are on hand to throw insults and their own dung at any nearby enemies. WAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the new and updated Elblondino's Workbench. I have had the Elblondino site in another guise for donkeys years but stopped doing anything with it many, many moons ago due to life getting in the way. Well over the last year I've changed my life completely with the plan and aim to be self employed again as the Clumsy Pickle which some of you may know is my alter ego as illustrator extraordinaire. I'm not quite there yet but it's definitely moving in the right direction. Deep down (well not that deep at all really) I will always be a geek and into my miniature making, painting and gaming. With that in mind I thought why not resurrect the old blog and get my work back out there again like I used to. I've also found it increasingly difficult to separate the business from the hobby so this will be a great way to do that. I do all sorts of different scales, ranges etc. Including Games Workshop, Warlord, Corvus Belli, you name it, and on here I'll
